Amenities galore

Within the plantation’s borders (second-largest planned community on the Island) are 4,400 residential lots, four 18-hole golf courses, a beach fronting on the Port Royal Sound, the Whooping Crane Pond and Cypress Nature Conservancies, the Seabrook Farm garden plots, tennis courts and swimming pools.

On Skull Creek side of the Plantation are Skull Creek Marina, a deepwater facility with 180 boat slips, the Old Fort Pub restaurant, and Fort Mitchell, a historic site that was a Union gun battery during the Civil War.

Outside the Plantation’s main gate, which is off William Hilton Parkway near mile marker 3, is Main Street, a development of grocery stores, restaurants, shops and professional offices.
